Eligibility

To present at Govworx, speakers fulfilled all of the following requirements:

  • Worked in a government organization in any country within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)
  • Used ArcGIS and/or other Esri software in daily GIS operations
  • Solved a complex problem or delivered efficient services with the help of GIS

Presentation outline

  • The challenge: Difficulties encountered, problems to solve, and goals to achieve.
  • The solution: How GIS was used to solve the problem, advantages gained, and technologies/software used.
  • The results: Significant changes achieved after applying GIS, increases in efficiency or productivity, and recommendations for the audience.
